Public Marriage records may show Public Marriage license pa and public marriage records may not show public marriage license das in Dallas.
A Dallas couple has filed a lawsuit against the city of Dallas and several city officials over a marriage license application that showed the couple was married.
According to the lawsuit, which was filed Monday, the marriage license was issued by a Dallas City Clerk’s office to the couple, and was subsequently used for other purposes.
According the suit, the couple had applied for a public marriage certificate, but when they applied for the public marriage certificates, they were told that the city had changed their names and that the couple would need to re-apply.
The couple filed a complaint with the Dallas City Council, who responded that they were not allowed to apply for a marriage certificate.
Dallas City Attorney Mark Rippey said that since the city has no records pertaining to this case, it is the city’s burden to prove that the marriage certificate was issued for legitimate reasons.
“We believe that it was improper for the City to issue a marriage bond,” Rippy told The Washington Post.
“It was improper because they applied by mail and were told by the city that they had to refile their application for the marriage bond.
The marriage bond was not issued by the City.”
The couple’s attorney, William T. Smith, told the newspaper that his clients have not been notified of the legal action and are considering the lawsuit.
Smith told the Dallas Morning News that the lawsuit is “completely without merit” and that they are not interested in pursuing a lawsuit.
“They’ve made it out to be something they don’t want to do,” Smith told ABC News.
“And we’re very disappointed in them.”
The Dallas City Counsel’s Office said in a statement that they would “consider the matter.”
