When Dolly Parton and Josh Groban tied the knot in 2015, the pair was still just 22.
But a couple’s relationship can quickly spiral out of control if they don’t know how to properly handle any legal matters.
Now, as part of the “Taming the Couple” series, we’re taking a look at the steps that a newlyweds should take to get married legally in their home state.
Make sure the couple has a driver’s license.
The Idaho State Driver License (IDL) is the state’s most commonly issued driver’s licenses.
This is because it is required for drivers to be able to drive in a vehicle.
A driver’s permit is required in most other states, but IDLs are only issued in Idaho.
Have a state-issued marriage license.
This may be a bit tricky, because it depends on your state’s marriage license laws.
The best way to find out what your state has on file is to visit your local county clerk’s office or the Idaho Department of Motor Vehicles (IDMV) website, where you can find a list of licensed marriages.
In some states, you can ask your state to issue a marriage license online.
For example, in Idaho, you might have to go to the state website to obtain a marriage certificate online.
Obtain a marriage registry card.
The most important step in getting married legally is to get the marriage registry, which is a government document that lists every marriage in the state.
It’s available for $12.
If you don’t have the right ID or don’t want to pay, you could get one from a certified local marriage counselor.
The state will then issue you a certificate of marriage, which can then be used to obtain marriage licenses.
In most cases, a marriage is a legally binding union between two adults.
Register your marriage.
It may seem a bit complicated, but getting married in Idaho is incredibly simple.
In order to get registered with the state, you’ll need to fill out the Idaho Marriage Registration Application, which you’ll find on the IDL website.
In addition, you need to provide the state with your name, address, date of birth, and social security number.
This will also include your driver’s and passport information.
Once you fill out this form, the marriage registration office will mail you a marriage registration card.
If the couple hasn’t already done so, you should go ahead and do so. 5.
Bring your marriage certificate to the ceremony.
The marriage registry can take a few weeks to process, so you’ll probably need to wait a bit to have your certificate mailed.
The ceremony will typically take about two to three days, and the couple should have their certificates delivered at least one week before the wedding.
In many cases, the couple can get a certificate from the clerk of court within two days.
Obtaining a marriage permit.
You may have to file a couple of different forms in order to obtain the IDA, but it’s the most important piece of the legal puzzle.
The IDA is a piece of paper that includes all of the information necessary for a marriage.
You’ll have to fill it out in order for the ID to become effective, which requires a signature from both parties.
If both parties have valid ID, they can get married in the same location, which will typically be their home.
After you get married, the wedding will typically occur within two to four days.
The couple will have to provide a witness and a photo, and all of this will take place in the couple’s home.
The process of getting married can be confusing for both of you, but you should know what to expect from the ceremony and get married as soon as possible.
